Brandi is both a PORAC Legal Defense Fund (LDF) panel attorney and California Correctional Supervisors’ Organization (CCSO) panel attorney and handles all matters of employment defense. She is on Harper & McCoy’s Critical Incident Response Team and is often requested by police associations to handle their general counsel matters due to her outgoing personality. Brandi is an avid presenter and enjoys giving training to associations on civil litigation updates and general counsel matters. In fact, she very may well be the favorite at Harper & McCoy’s annual Las Vegas POA Leadership training.
Before starting Harper & McCoy, she worked at Wagner & Pelayes, where she focused on civil litigation and public entity defense, as well as family and employment law, and at Lackie Dammeier McGill & Ethir, APC where her practice focused 100% on civil litigation. Brandi has represented police officers in civil litigation, including Section 1983 cases related to claims of excessive force, and has tried cases in both state and federal court. She has also represented clients throughout all stages of family law, from pre-nuptial agreements through post-judgment, as well as Dependency matters. She is passionate about representing first-responders in all areas of her practice.

During law school, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable John G. McBain of the Jackson County Circuit Court in Jackson, MI. Brandi received her undergraduate degree, with honors, from California State University San Bernardino, where she received The President’s Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List.
